I gave it a shot
A unique find in San Francisco! My stay featured a spacious and clean queen room that felt more like a charming studio apartment than a typical hotel. The staff genuinely cared, especially when I faced an unexpected health hiccup. Conveniently located near public transport, it’s ideal for exploring the city without breaking the bank.

The Warfield's vintage charm with warm lighting made me feel right at home. Its accessible layout was very convenient for me, allowing easy navigation throughout the lovely historic building. I truly adored the cozy ambiance.
More seating in common areas would be nice.

The hotel exudes vintage charm, with warm lighting that creates an inviting atmosphere. Its convenient layout made it simple to navigate through the historic property, enhancing the overall cozy feel.
The room and bathroom both had a musty smell that knocked the wind out of me. To top it off, a glitchy lock on the door didn’t inspire too much confidence, and the absence of window screens felt concerning. The elevator, without ventilation, was a claustrophobic challenge, and I was a bit put off by a noticeable cockroach issue—saw dozens in the bathroom alone. Plus, the breakfast hours were a poor joke, leading to a rushed experience instead of a leisurely start to the day.

We loved being so close to the concert venue and the Golden Gate Theatre. The Saturday night soiree was epic, full of music, dance, and fine art. It was unforgettable fun, and we danced like there was no tomorrow! Breakfast was nice too, and the staff were super helpful throughout our stay.
The neighborhood is a bit rough. We encountered a lot of noise from jackhammering and other disturbances outside, which was annoying at times.

We spent 3 nights here and loved the cozy Queen Room with a private bathroom. the receptionist even helped us with our bags when our elevator was out. The hotel has a relaxing pool area and comfy lounge to unwind in after a busy day. Just a heads up—the towels could use a little refreshing, but it didn’t take away from our great stay! 😊

Cozy vibe with clean rooms. The area feels unsafe, especially at night. No AC but a fridge in the room. It's cheap for the location.

The bed was clean and comfortable, which was a relief after what I'd read online. The staff was friendly, helped with my questions, and even checked in on me after my stomach issues!
Honestly, it wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable for the experience we got.

I really loved the charm of Warfield. The interior was beautiful, with lovely rooms and a cool old elevator that adds character. My room had a private bathroom, which was a nice touch. The location is super central for getting around. The staff were friendly, especially the gentleman working during the day and the overnight lady. they made me feel welcome. I spent my first anniversary here, and it was special. However, the surrounding neighborhood felt sketchy. I noticed some cleanliness issues in the public areas, like dust on surfaces, and I could hear noise from outside since there was no AC. Still, most experiences were positive. I’d consider staying again despite the questionable area.
